Recently, I was lucky enough to see what a Strongwater Columbus wedding experience was like. As you know, I love shooting brides and grooms in urban locations. The juxtaposition has always been aesthetically pleasing to me. Read More
Becoming friends with Brooke and Billy has been an absolutely awesome experience! After hanging out for their Boston engagement session, I knew we were going to have a ton of fun on their wedding day for their Hillbrook Club Wedding. Their wedding day took place on the absolutely beautiful day of August 8th, 2015, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. There were so many favorite moments to this day, but the portraits we took with their pup Henry definitely stole the show!
Thank you Brooke and Billy for being such a joy to work with. And most importantly, thank you for introducing me to the lobster roll when I visited Boston!
Be sure to take a look at Brooke and Billy’s Hillbrook Club wedding photos below and then leave them some love in the comments section at the bottom!
Kelsi is as smart and sweet as she is photogenic. When she and her mom showed up for our session, I was so happy that they had a vision for a vibrant, urban feel. In between takes, I learned about Kelsi’s involvement in the medical field and the excitement of her college search (don’t forget, Kelsi… GO IRISH!). You’ll see from the images below that working with her was a breeze. Thanks for such a great session! Read More
I met Ivy and Dan last year and knew right away we were going to get along really well. As a couple, they are super artsy and have a style and creativity all their own. Their engagement session was so great that I made sure to print three canvases of their session for my studio. As their wedding day approached, I couldn’t wait to work with them again. Just as I suspected, we had an awesome day! Read More
Kaylan and Tyler’s engagement session was a total blast. My favorite part is a conversation that went a little something like this:
Me- “Hey, do you guys want to try something ridiculous?”
Kaylan and Tyler- “Sure!”
I love couples like this; the ones that aren’t afraid of a little adventure. Since Kaylan and Tyler share my love for the city of Cleveland, we decided to shoot in the Flats, a classic Cleveland backdrop. During the session, we spotted a huge pile of coal and realized we could use that pile to take their photos to the next level. Literally. Kaylan and Tyler embraced the moment, kicked off their shoes and climbed up to the top. They may have gotten a bit dirty, but we have some epic shots because of their willingness to roll up their sleeves and have some fun. I can’t wait to work with these two again in September for their wedding day! Read More
Maura and Greg’s day began at the gorgeous St. John’s Cathedral in downtown Cleveland. Although it was a rainy day, Maura and Greg’s awesome guests weren’t going to let a little precipitation stop them from getting a killer recessional. As they left the church, their family and friends made a tunnel for them to run through; it was awesome to see! Read More
Right from our initial meeting, I knew I was going to have an absolute blast with Ashley and Matthew. You can learn about people based on what type of music they listen to, so when I found out we shared a love for electronic dance music, it was clear we were going to have a great time hanging out together! I love shooting couples in locations that are part of their story. Lesley, Jason, and I met up in Wellington, which just so happened to be the home of their second date. After a classic first dinner date, they decided to roll up their sleeves and enjoy Mother Nature by canoeing through Findley State Park. How cute is that?! Read More
I’ve always liked contrasting timeless styles with modern (and sometimes even sketchy-looking) locations. For this reason, Mackenzie and Seth were a perfect couple to work with. They showed up to our session looking like a million bucks and, after snapping some gorgeous shots at the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, were ready to take on a much more gritty urban backdrop before ending at the Cleveland Museum of Art. When the Cleveland Westin hotel serves as the backdrop for a wedding, you know it’s going to be a good day for photos. Shannon and Bryan showed off their sense of style by choosing this insanely modern and swanky venue. Read More
Wedding season is in full swing! As I keep up with the busiest (and most fun) time of the year, I am also prioritizing blogging to showcase the awesome couples I get to work with. I’ll start by introducing you to Cynthia and Matt. I met up with them for an engagement session at the Cleveland Metro Parks last fall and could tell right away that they were an easy going, laid back couple. Read More
For my latest camera adventures in nuptials land, I had to pleasure of shooting Arielle and Danny and their small, intimate ceremony and reception in Cleveland. Read More
